I always get surprised to find nice things in the skip of our building. Our studio is in the studio complex of so many specialists/industries: from acclaimed design companies to a teeth model maker!

Once I found guys breaking mugs into the skip. The mugs were their design but rejectors of industrial scale and they were throwing literally thousands! I couldn't have the nice cups but did get their beautiful white box packages. They are now box for my treehouses... :D

The other day I found these beautiful boards with decor samples. I wonder who had them in our building and what they were doing with them... Anyway, thank you for whoever had them. And I'm a bit excited with the beautiful findings...

私のスタジオは、7階建て（日本だったら8階建てになります）のスタジオ群の中にあります。建物の駐車場には工業用のゴミ箱（こちらではskipと呼ばれます。）があり、たまに思わぬ発見をする場所です。家具、布ゴミは珍しくなく、こちらもゴミのクオリティーにはうるさくなりました。

去年などは、プロダクトデザイン会社で働く男の子たちが、釉薬に問題のあったマグカップを何千個も破棄しているのを見つけ（その作業は3、4日続くほどでした。）、私は手伝いついでにきれいな空箱を頂きました。私の家がちょうど収まる素敵な拾いものでした。

この間は、この室内装飾の見本標らしきものが捨てられているのを見つけました。かわいいですしょ？ゴムのようなもので作られていて、実際に使うには湿らせてカーブに沿わせたりもできるそうです。型をとって使えるかしら？私の家にはちょっと大きいのがネックです。
