We went down to Bexhill to celebrate our friend's exhibition opening.

We took very basic camping equipments and stayed at camp site for one night. The rest of the time we spent on the beach. My friends went into the sea but I only dipped my feet... It was little cold for me.

The exhibition was great! It shows her very old work (even pictures of oil paintings while she was in school) and very new work for this exhibition and bits of the path she's taken in-between. It made me wonder how much progress have I made so far...? I feel like I'm stuck always in the same place...!

Anyway please go down to see it while you can enjoy the sea as well!

今週末はトモコさんのエキシビジョンのオープニングにBexhillまで行きました。Bexhillは海沿いの小さな町なのですが、訪れたのは二度目です。今回は最低限の道具一式を持って行って、キャンプもしましたが、ほとんどは海辺で過ごしていました。

エキシビジョンはとても良かったです。タイトルにもありますが、過去の作品も展示しているので、どうやって作品が発展してきたのかを見ることができて、とても興味深いものでした。と同時に、私はあまり発展がないなと痛感させられました。私は私なりに秋のショーに向けて、少しでも成長した自分を見せることができたらな、、、と思いました。
