sourdough

I love breads as much as I love Japanese meal. (Well... I just love eating anything as far as they taste good!!)
Especially I've been interested in sourdough breads in the last few years as they taste very different with the bakery. My friend from San Francisco said the sourdough here tastes nothing like the one she would eat there. I'm very keen to know what it tastes like over there.
My dream is to have my own sourdough starter some time!

パン食の写真もよく載せているので、お気づきの方もいるかもしれませんが、私はサワドウをよく食べます。甘みが少なく、天然酵母なところが、健康食の印象を与えるのと、お店によって結構味が違うのがおもしろくて、いろいろ試してきました。
幼少期には剣道で鍛えられた私ですが、サワ道というものがあってもいいんじゃないかと思うくらい、サワドウ師匠には芯を感じます。伝統を受け継ぐ心、自己啓発力、(人生の!?)酸味、、、何よりも噛みごたえのあるところがその証拠だと思うのです。という訳で私は今日もサワ道に勤しむわけです。今回はデーツとくるみが入った甘めのものです。人生はつらいことばかりじゃないね、と思いました。

  2. ahaha;D some time! yes the bread itself is already sour so prune or raisin don't go as well as dates. i quite like figs and walnuts as well!
