The window gallery has been a place for work in progress

I spent a whole morning at the desk for the first time since I moved into a new room about a month ago. The new room is facing south and gets generous sunshine, which I love. I wake up without alarm and feel great every morning.

But I didn't have curtains on the windows and found it's not great when I work at the computer. So I decided to make ones (but just enough to function as one). It is pinched at the top. The sides are not sewn. I hope I'll complete it some day...

新しい家に引越しして初めて、午前中を部屋で過ごしました。

部屋は南向きで、朝日で目が覚める気持ちのいいものですし、隣人からも見えないのでカーテンを外したまま過ごしていました。が、窓際にある机にも陽は惜しみなく降り注ぎ、パソコンは光を反射し、とても見づらいことに気がつきました。

というわけで、ずっと保留していたカーテン作りを始めました。しかし、仕事を差し置いて、制作に時間を費やし過ぎてもいけない、、、。というわけで、途中でやめましたが、いつかは完成させたいなと思います。
