I wake up in the morning feeling hungry most of the time. And the first thing I think about is what to put in miso soup. But today after almost a week of no sweets I really felt like pancake.
A cup of flour and milk and a bit of salt, baking powder and an egg. Then I grate apple or pear or quince and just mix them together and bake it with butter.
I had it with Creme Fraiche and honey and apple jam (which originally I made for tarte tatin but went sloppy. Blenheim is not good for it.) Yoghurt, creme cheese and maple syrup would be very nice too.
