'Camellia' pasta plate in white. It will be shown and available at Origin.

When I was reflecting on my diet with too many okara biscuits in this week, I found a variety of salads on offer at tesco. I decided to take something greener. Watercress, wild rocket, feta cheese and pomegranate with red wine dressing.

Eating salad is relatively new thing in Japan. I was astonished to know that we wouldn't eat fresh vegetable at home until 1970s. That is when I was born! I remember myself eating salad when I was very small but I now know it was quite unusual thing for my parents and grand parents. (Actually I don't remember my mother's parents making salad.)
It'll be nice to know what my mother used to think when she first made salad!
