yakitori

Yesterday my friends had an office drink. We had 'yakitori' on the sunny balcony. 
Yakitori is chicken BBQ (although, we had beef, pork as well...). We cut the meat into small pieces skewered on bamboo stick. We have sauce to dip the skewers as we grill. It is quite popular snack to have with a drink in Japan.
It tastes always nice when we eat outside. I hope it's gonna be long and lovely summer again this year...!


昨日はご近所スタジオのオフィスドリンクで焼き鳥をしました。本当は桜を見ながらする予定だったのですが、近所の公園の桜は遅咲きのようで、満開にはほど遠かったことと、ワイが締切間近の仕事に追われていたので、スタジオのバルコニーですることになりました。景色は残念でしたが、陽はしっかりと当たって、気持ちのいい食事になりました。
今週のロンドンはとても暖かく、朝夕はジャケットが必要なくらいなのですが、昼間は20℃近くまで上がる時もあり、半袖で過ごしている人を何人も見かけました。ちなみに時間も先週末からサマータイムに切り替わり、夕方が一気に長く感じられます。
今年も天気のいい長い夏になるといいなーと思います。
