kappacassein

Yesterday I went to Southwark to see the Damien Hirst at Tate Modern in the last minute. It was a collection of his iconic works from his early stage to the recent. I'm not really into his work (as I feel like it's a collection of wasted lives for art sake), but it is amazing that some of his work still can be seen so new. 
Anyway on the way back to the studio when I passed Borough market it was well past lunch time, so I had to pop by. The smell of the baked cheese from Kappacassein knocked me! Hmm yum (very happy)! 
We Japanese love unagi (eel) and when we smell the sauce on it (as we bbq it also after dipping into the sauce) we can't help mouth watering. I wonder if the baked cheese has the same effect? 

昨日はダミアンハーストのエキシビジョンを、どうにか見に行きました。別に彼の作品が好きなわけではないのですが、見逃してはいけない感があるものです。作品の半分は、見た事のあるものでしたが、見た事の無い作品の古さとそれでもまだ受ける新鮮さに驚きました。
帰り道、お昼をかなり過ぎて朦朧としていたので（私はお腹が空いたのが、明からさまに表面に出るタイプです）、ボローマーケットに寄りました。Kappacasseinというマーケットの名物ストールがあって、こだわりのチーズで、ラクレットとホットサンドを作っています。いつもチーズの香りが漂ってくるし、行列ができているので、見逃すことはありません。そして、そのおいしいこと！シンプルで美味しいものって、やはり強いなーと思うことです。
